The shop that attempted to perform an alignment is also suspect even so, you should have gotten a sheet with the readout. Sailor is right I cannot image the bushing going bad like that all of a sudden, though I suppose anything is possible. We need to see the read out on the alignment to make some sort of judgement a bit more information about the current mileage on the car might also help in coming to a sort of agreement about what might actually be the cause.
